Are the things that keep you & I from being Us

The distance between us is not only physical

Its begun to distance us, emotionally

As time goes on it seems as if the space between us extends & extends

Little things here & there to postpone distances painful schedule

The absence of you with me & me with you at times becomes unbearable

Almost as if i am chained down watching you walk away

But your looking back with every step you take, but never stopping

Reunion is what i hope for the day I break these chains and you look back

& I am nowhere to be found

You turn to your side & see me where I'll be for

Eternity...
